Broccoli Clam Chowder

  • 4 strips of bacon
  • 1 tbsp of butter
  • 1/4 yellow onion
  • 1 celery
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Lil bit of hot sauce
  • Lil but of Worcestershire sauce
  • Seasoning (parsley, pap, Sazon, adobo)
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 lb potato’s
  • 1/2 cup Pasta
  • Chopped Broccoli
  • 1 can of chopped clams

  1. Cook bacon in pot. Remove and set aside.
  2. Add butter in the pot, then add onions and celery. Toss for 5 min. Then add garlic, hot sauce, Worcester sauce, and seasonings. Cook for 1 min
  3. Add flour and cook for 2 min
  4. Add chicken broth in small amounts. Add heavy cream in small amounts 
  5. Add juice from canned clams.
  6. Bring the soup to gentle boil, then reduce to simmer for 20 min. Add more chicken broth if it gets too thick.
  7. Add diced potatoes, pasta, and broccoli to soup, and let it cook for 15 min.
  8. Stir in clams and let it cook for 5 min.
  9. Top with chopped bacon
